I wasn't sure a peony note would come through in a candle, but that slightly tart, spicy edge really balances the softer floral side. It scented my whole bedroom within about twenty minutes of lighting it.
The rose and peony combo is stronger than I expected, almost spicy before it settles into something softer. Lit it on a rainy afternoon and the whole living room smelled like a flower shop for hours.
I wasn't sure a peony candle could smell this good, but the spicy undertone keeps it from being too sweet. It fills my whole bedroom even though it's the mini size, which surprised me.
