I left this burning in the hallway and it genuinely smells like stepping into my grandfather’s study, with that incense note lingering properly for a couple of hours before the wood takes over.

The dry-down really nails that antique furniture smell, like the inside of an old cabinet — the incense and wood notes blend beautifully instead of fighting each other. It makes my hallway feel like a vintage library, and the throw is strong without being cloying.

I’ve been burning this on a cold evening and the room instantly feels like an old library full of polished mahogany. The incense note is subtle enough not to overwhelm, but the wooden base really lingers for hours after the flame is out.
