I burned it for the first time last night and the green pine needles smell genuinely sharp and fresh, not like a car air freshener at all. The throw filled my whole living room within an hour, though I do wish the jar were a bit bigger for the price.
The balsamic resin warmth underneath the green needles is what sold me — it makes my whole living room smell like a forest at dusk, not a car air freshener. Burn time has been solid too, several evenings in and it's barely gone down.
The pine needle scent is sharp and green at first, then the resin notes come through warm and almost sticky-sweet once it's been lit an hour. Three wicks mean it pools evenly across the top instead of tunneling down the middle. My living room smelled like a forest for two days after I blew it out.
