The bergamot hit first, bright and a little sharp, then it softened into something warmer within ten minutes. Burned it on my desk all afternoon and the whole room smelled like a citrus grove.
The neroli really comes through once it's been burning about ten minutes, less sharp than I expected and more like fresh orange blossom. It's a small candle so it only fills my bedroom, but that's exactly where I wanted it.
I light this one when I need a lift on gray mornings, and the bergamot opening cuts through instantly. The neroli comes in softer a few minutes later, that little orange-blossom warmth. For a mini candle it throws scent surprisingly well across my whole desk.
