ゲストは準備万端、ゲームが始まろうとしている。小さな木片が置かれた杯が手から手へと渡り、香木がゆっくりと燃え、香りの煙が部屋の隅々に漂う。Incensumは、異なる香木を焚き分けてその香りを聞き分けるという、日本の伝統的な芸道である香道へのオマージュである。調香師アルベルト・モリーヤスは、この場面で嗅がれる香りを、日出ずる国に起源を持つ古の芸術の作法に従って想像した。
東洋と西洋の出会いのようなこのフレグランスは、スモーキーな焦げたウッドとお香のダークなニュアンス、ミルラの温かさ、パピルスウッドとウッドレザーの深みを併せ持つ。日本では、香りを「聴く」と言われ、その香りは心と精神の両方を癒す。
