The cassis leaf and grapefruit zest make this feel bright instead of syrupy sweet, which is exactly what I wanted in a winter candle. I light it on my desk around 6pm and it fills the whole room within twenty minutes.
The grapefruit zest cuts through the raspberry in a way that actually smells fresh instead of syrupy, which I didn't expect from a grenadine candle. It fills my whole living room within about twenty minutes of lighting it.
I wasn't sure about the cassis leaf note at first, but it dries down into this warm raspberry-grenadine sweetness that fills my whole living room. Burn time has been great too, still going strong after several evenings.
