I wasn't sure about a candle going powdery, but this one turns soft and milky after twenty minutes and it's become my Sunday morning ritual. The little jar burns clean to the edge too, which I didn't expect from something this small.

The anise note hit me first, then it slowly turned soft and powdery over about an hour — exactly the kind of layering I hoped for. It's small, so I keep it on my desk and it scents the whole corner without being overwhelming.
