I've had this diffuser running in the living room for two weeks and the caramelized fruit and saffron warmth still hits the second I walk in, without ever feeling cloying. The bergamote keeps it bright enough that it doesn't turn into a dessert bomb, which is exactly what I hoped for.
The second I spritzed this in the hallway, it smelled like someone had just baked caramel pralines with a smoky tea edge, so warm and inviting. The saffron and cardamom keep it from being too sweet, and the scent lingers for hours without getting cloying.
I wasn't sure a room spray could pull off gourmand without being cloying, but the praline and caramelized fruit notes are balanced so well by the black tea that it smells warm rather than sugary.
