I’ve had this on for about six hours now and the smoky, heated-wood feel is still going strong—the way it slowly shifts from burning embers to something softer is quite the ride. That opening, though, is intense; you have to give it a few minutes to settle down before it shows its real depth.

The way this oud develops on skin is fascinating—it starts like smoldering embers and slowly turns into something almost leathery and warm. Lasted a good eight hours on me, and the projection was noticeable without being loud. Perfect for evenings when I want to feel a bit mysterious.

The smoky, charred opening is so vivid it feels like I’m standing over a fire, but it settles into a warm, almost sweet woodiness that lasts through a full workday. I’ve never smelled a oud that starts this raw and ends so elegantly on my skin.
